I loved this week's show. I had the opportunity to hike parts of the Bruce Trail as a teenager back in the mid-seventies and it was great to see some of the wonderful improvements to the whole trail system. I grew up in Port Elgin Ont. and we had a cottage in Kincardine. We left the Bruce County area in the mid-90's and have not had the opportunity to go back so I love watching your show and seeing a lot of the places I knew as a young person. Keep up the great work! |

My Mother's family lives throughout Bruce County, and we visit 2-3 times a year including a week’s vacation at Sauble Beach each year. With all of the attractions to visit in the area, we have yet to do the lighthouse tour. Maybe this year we will get to do it. I’m looking forward to receiving the tour guide. The next time you visit Kincardine ask about the ""Phantom Piper"" who pipes the sun down every evening during the summer, and don’t forget to visit Wiarton Willy on the shore of the Colpoys Bay at Wiarton. The pipe band on Saturday evenings in Kincardine is not to be missed either. You do have a great show. Keep up the good work. Mike Bell |

I just watched your TV show for the very first time. I saw it by channel surfing. At the end of the show it was mentioned that the first so-many viewers that requested a DVD would receive it from you without charge...I am kindly requesting a free DVD. My husband and I are Senior Citizen's, had guests this past weekend from another State and decided to take them kayaking with a tour guide. We all found it immensely pleasurable. We live in Florida and would appreciate any DVD with kayaking. Would you be so kind.... We are definately hooked to kayaking as it gave us intense pleasure, we are bird watchers', animal lovers and my husband is well oriented in any type of water growth. It just enhanced our senses to the loves of this when we went kayaking. Do you have any tips in buying a kayak seating two??? Hopefully we will qualify for your free DVD too. Your show was intense! Utter enjoyment and relaxation and excitement to watch. Respectfully, Jae Jae Van Pete |

I have to say I like them all. Having lived in Michigan for 51 years, I wouldn't consider going anywhere else. I think we have some of the finest tourist attractions for families and the finest natural beauty available. Keep up the good work. You know, when you stop doing your job in michigan, there is no other reason to continue watching PBS. |

You took me home! I was born and raised in the Manistique area and graduated from Manistique High School in 1965. I have canoed the Manistique River, visited the Seney Wildlife Refuge, walked the boardwalk along the lakeshore, and used to ride my bicycle to the Indian Lake State Park to swim. We also would have school picnics in the pavillion there. My husband and I have lived in the Lower Peninsula for over 40 years, 33 years in Chesaning and now the last 8 years in retirement in Cadillac, but over the years have visited Manistique often to vist family. Your show was a nice reminder of the beautiful place we had to grow up in. Thank you. It was very well done! |

I thoroughly enjoyed the show from all aspects. The beautiful scenery along the river while in the canoes, the beautiful trails at the Indian Park, and the beautiful Manistique Lighthuse topped it all off. Tom O'Boyle sure brings the beautiful scenery into our home. We always look forward to Gret Getaways and have learned alot from the show. |

Very satisfying show! Makes one long to take the tour. As I watched the show memories came back as I had rode up the coast 20 years ago and took the circle tour of Lake Huron. Thanks for the memories. |

I thought it was excellent show. I've travelled on the Bruce a few times in an automobile, but the show whetted my appetite to return for a motorcycle adventure. There were several areas, routes, and places of interest that I didn't know about and I'm grateful to have the infomation. Thank you for the food for thought for a fun return to Ontario's beautiful back roads. |

Excellent... well produced. Our local station had some transmission problems though and about 5 times during the show the signal garbled and it actually jumped to a different part of the show and then back again. But it didn't stop me from watching. :-) Can't wait to check out the falls! Thanks, -Kent |
