I recognized lumberman's monument as soon as we flipped to PBS tonight. I spent time with my 10 year old nephew there last summer and walked all the steps. He was lucky enough to get to spend time at their archeological excavation and find some cool artifacts. As a school teacher with a sense of adventure, and his eager spirit ready to explore and learn, we'd love to share our insights into our Michigan vacations if you're ever looking for a kids-eye-view of our great state. |

Guys, love the show! Last year I watched your program on one of your U.P. adventures. You visited Marquette along with Presque isle. I swear that while on Presque isle, you went to a hidden waterfall that only locals know of? I went there last year and loved it about as much as the flies loved me. I want to go back to see more. Absolutely love your videos/shows! I remember when they were called "Discovering the Northern Experience" back in the 90s/early 2000s. I used to sit and watch these shows with my grandparents who have since passed. You are a very inspiring cast and keep up the good films! I asked her where she would like to go on our summer vacation, she answered right away; the upper peninsula. We will be traveling to the U.P. this summer for our vacation this year.
