    I hope you had as delightful summer as I did. Great Getaways was all over our beautiful state filming and interviewing, attending festivals and events, and finding treasures we will share throughout next year.

    This month we are airing two new shows right from the center of the State so be sure to watch and plan your next winter wonderland get away accordingly.

NEW:  It's Snow Time - November 20

No better place to start winter than in the heart of Michigan. There is lots of snow for some great cross country skiing up and down the incredible hills of the Ogemaw County Pathways and what would a winter trip be without some ice fishing as we discover that there are over 100 ice covered lakes in this county to choose from. Then we will end each day with a great meal and a hot tottie.

We never miss "Tip Up Town USA" we may not show you this fun filled event every year but you can count on us to be there enjoying it. Every year there is more people, more fun and of course more Tip Up Fishing! Filled with professional snowmobile races, ice fishing and all around entertainment this is an event that everyone will enjoy.
