Port Austin
| Because of its unique location, the area offers spectacular sunsets and equally beautiful sunrises over the water. Opportunities abound to enjoy the many outdoor activities that the lake and local beaches have to offer. To the west of the Village of Port Austin, beyond Oak Beach, is an area of numerous parks, beaches and recreational facilities. To the east are many historic areas-from Grindstone City and harbor, to the restored lumber town of Huron City, now a museum, to Lighthouse Park featuring historic Pointe Aux Barques lighthouse. |
