Grey Roots brings together Grey County's Museum, Archives, and Tourism
Services through permanent and nationally touring exhibits, including
the Black History Exhibit, archival and genealogical resources, theatre,
café, gift shop, special events and much more!
A variety of enticing programs and exhibits
have been designed to engage and educate you at Grey Roots. This includes
an exhibit about water in Grey County, which traces the history of
Owen Sound’s Harbour and marine industries. The archives are committed
to preserving and promoting heritage with our combined archival resources
and Reading Room. Tourism Services round out your experience, a gateway
to the many natural wonders and attractions of the region. We are
able to offer one-on-one counselling and access to computerized tourism
kiosks
